Sunday School

We are happy to be able to provide Sunday School classes for ages two through adults as well as a nursery. Please consider joining in and learning God’s Word with us.

We use the well regarded curriculum produced by Great Commission Publications, a joint venture of the Orthodox Presbyterian Church (OPC) and the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA). This means your children will receive an excellent biblical education while at Calvary Church.

Youth Group

Youth Group meetings and events are scheduled several times throughout the year.

Vacation Bible School

summer Youth Camp

The Presbytery of Ohio Summer Youth Camp takes place each year at Slippery Rock Baptist Camp.

Women’s Bible Study

The Women’s Bible Studies meets at various times throughout the year. They study books of the Bible and books about the Bible.  Some of the topics studied in the past were Faith, the Church, Satan, Assurance of Salvation, Bearing Fruit, Why Do Christians Suffer, etc. They plan to continue these studies but are open to different study topics.

There was a need for the younger women (who many of them work outside the home) to meet for Bible study.  The Younger Women Evening Bible Study studies a different subject at each session.  Thus far they have dealt with Fear, Strength, Satan, and Contentment and look forward to many more,  They try to keep the class to an hour to make it as easy for these young women to come but to have the opportunity to really dig into the scriptures.

Christian Studies Group

The Christian Studies group is a group of young people that is interested in growing in faith and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We study biblical texts and topics, and review books and do analyses of articles in Christian publications.

These young people are interested in a biblical reformed world and life view. Young people of  college and career age are invited to the home of the pastor twice a month to enjoy a cogent presentation and lively discussion. May the Lord of all glory be praised!

Food Cupboard

Non-perishable food items can be placed in the church foyer to support the “Feed my Sheep” food cupboard in the area.
